Hi Linda,

I know it is hard, but you can do it. They may sound cliche, but is true beyond measure. Maybe you are making it too hard on yourself. Break apart the way you wish your life to be and change only one thing at a time or as many as you can maintain at once.

Small changes make big changes:
switch to whole grain bread	Opt for water, drink it all the timeNo popGet moving, a walk to start and just keep goingAdd weights - while watching t.v. lift some free weights, building more calories with muscles

Hi Carol, I did not take the low calorie coffee out of my diet. Although, I did try to drink less. I do not think that it is a do or die thing. I believe that it would probably be best to eliminate coffee from your diet for a weight and bloat thing, but to me it wasn’t worth the trade off in my daily life. Sometimes, things are not all black or all with cream

I would say if you follow the FBD as laid out you will see huge changes! If you modify it slightly you will still see big changes. And even if you make alot of variances there will be positive changes in your body and weight, just not those huge numbers.

I failed at the diet as soon as my life went flying into a million directions. But I won’t file the book away as a failure. This is a plan that can and does work. So, when things settle down (just like my facebook buddies advise) I will jump back in and go for it.

I will be 130 or less some day! I just know it!

I am considering beginning the FBD, but am concerned about giving up coffee. I am addicted to caffeine(two cups/day made of 1/2 caf and 1/2 decaf); afraid to go cold turkey because it will definitely cause a migraine.

Do you think I could start the 4 day Anti-Bloat of FBD by just having one cup of real coffee?

Advice? Advise?

The best way to confront any issues is to not give up and keep pushing forward.

So true. It's much easier to continue then to stop and start again. I know, I've stopped and had to restart. Ugh. This quote has helped me: All is forgiven. Move on. Keep moving.... I don't know you, but I do know the weight loss/maintenance fight. I'm rooting for you and hoping that it gets easier. Hugs.
